Web Apps: Easy Online Tools for Student Practice

This workshop will show adult educators and staff how to use free and easy-to-use online tools for teaching synchronously or asynchronously online or in person.
The online tools presented will be used to show how to search for and use user-generated content, create interactive worksheets, receive immediate feedback and results from students, and find or create drills or games that students can use individually, in break-out rooms, or as a whole class for all kinds of practice of course content.
- Attendees must have basic computer skills
- Attendees must have access to or accounts for the online apps that will be discussed (tbd before scheduling).
- Attendees must should have access to the device/s used by the facilitator in order to participate.
An OTAN Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to those that have pre-registered and attend at least 75% of the scheduled time.
The desired outcome of every OTAN workshop is that participants will have a working understanding of the application or topics discussed and modeled.
OTAN workshops may be requested, customized, and scheduled by qualifying adult education agencies for their staff as targeted professional development.
