Session 2 – Communities of Practice: Supporting Immigrant Integration through Civics Education (Pilot)

The new community of practice (CoP) created this year by CALPRO is on the topic of Supporting Immigrant Integration through Civics Education. The CoP will be piloted in March 2022 with a small group of adult education teachers. The experience will consist of online asynchronous activities along with two synchronous sessions on March 14th and 28th from 1 to 4 pm.
This CoP is designed for instructors teaching adult English language Learners (learners may be in ABE, ASE, ESL, etc.). Many of the participants may be working in programs with IELCE funding as well, but that is not a requirement for participation.
