Project Based Online Learning
January 1, 1970 @ 12:00 am PST
Project Based Learning (PBL) has made a mark in face-to-face classrooms. Evidence consistently shows the positive impact of project-based learning on student outcomes. However, this instructional model is still in the earlier stages of being consistently adapted to work in blended and online education settings.
PBL is a fantastic model for student-centered learning for distance modalities as these environments offer dynamic flexibility in time and space which are limited in the face-to-face classroom. However, Project Based Online Learning (PBOL) depends on teacher ability to design high-quality online content.
This webinar will examine a lesson structure model, example unit, tools for supporting PBOL, challenges and solutions, and Q&A.
This online webinar is part of OTAN’s “COVID-19” series.
In its effort to serve the Adult Education field during COVID-19 , OTAN will be hosting **Special Webinars** related to distance and remote learning techniques, online tools and resources, keeping equity, and a variety of other topics.
