Adult learners face challenges on many fronts. They have jobs, families, bills, and many other responsibilities… all while trying to navigate a new country and a new language. Come learn how civics education can support immigrant students’ journeys and leave with tools and resources to share.
Presenter: Bob Proctor is a veteran educator and an advocate for immigrant students who currently works for the Curriculum and Instruction Unit in the Division of Adult and Career Education at LAUSD.
