Easy Projects with Microsoft Office (1, 2, 3)

This series will give show instructors some easy, simple, project based activities using some of the Microsoft Office Suite of tools. This sessions are intended to be presented in parts, where each builds upon the last. Participant will be encouraged to attend the entire set of sessions. Projects using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint serve the dual purpose of language practice (writing and speaking) and learning basic functions of common software programs in use at home, school, and the workplace.

The activities presented in each session will be adaptable for all levels.

Part 1 – Microsoft Word and Powerpoint: Participants will be shown simple project-based activities for language practice and learning using Word, and PowerPoint. The activities are adaptable for all levels. Projects using Microsoft Office serve the dual purpose of language practice (writing and speaking) and learning basic functions of common software programs in use at home, school, and the workplace.

Part 2 – Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel: Participants will be shown simple project-based activities for language practice and learning using PowerPoint and Excel. Part 3 – Microsoft Forms: Participants will be shown simple project-based activities for language practice and learning using Forms The activities are adaptable for all levels. Projects using Microsoft Office serve the dual purpose of language practice (writing and speaking) and learning basic functions of common software programs in use at home, school, and the workplace.

Prerequisites

All participants must have basic computer skills, be able to open and have some exposure to the Microsoft tools presented, and know their login information for a work or personal email address.
