This training will focus on designing your Canvas courses to take advantage of tools that will streamline your workflow, allow you to spend more time teaching and engaging with your students, as well as foster connections with students and their families.
Instructional design best practices, UDL Strategies, and tips and tricks for using Canvas for performance based in person learning will be covered.
Special note: This series is designed for adult schools using the California Distance Learning Cooperative Canvas offer. However, any adult school using Canvas who may wish to sign up for the cooperative, or who already use Canvas would benefit from this information.
An OTAN Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to those that have pre-registered and attend at least 75% of the scheduled time.
The desired outcome of every OTAN workshop is that participants will have a working understanding of the application or topics discussed and modeled.
OTAN workshops may be requested, customized, and scheduled by qualifying adult education agencies for their staff as targeted professional development.
