Canvas: Grading and Feedback

Canvas is a web-based learning management system, or LMS. It is used by learning institutions, educators, and students to access and manage online course learning materials and communicate about skill development and learning achievement. The Canvas LMS includes a variety of customizable course creation and management tools, course and user analytics and statistics, and internal communication tools.

This session will provide an introduction to the gradebook and gradebook settings as well as information on how students can access their grades and a Canvas tool called SpeedGrader. This flyer has more information about what will be covered in this session as well as additional resources you can access on Canvas features.

PREREQUISITES and INFO

• All registrants must have a Canvas account and be able to access it during a session.
• This series is designed for California adult education agencies who are participating in the California Distance Learning Cooperative (CDLC). Some system resources, products, and other services may not be available through other (non-CDLC) Canvas instances.
