Canvas for Vocational Studies

Canvas for Vocational Studies covers tools that are used in a number of ways by the VET sector that help instructors develop engaging online and blended learning courses at Vocational and Technical Institutions. Canvas tools for course file management like technical manuals and slide decks, embedding features within the Rich Content Editor to share content with students such as diagrams, schematics and videos will enhance your ability as an instructor to deliver content effectively to your students. Lastly, we will cover the ePortfolio capability of Canvas which will allow your students to save their created content to help them professionally after they graduate from your academic institution.

Prerequisites

This session is best focused on instructors with foundational Canvas proficiency:

Have a solid foundation in Canvas Navigation course tools
Created assignments, assignment groups, and quizzes
Provided feedback using SpeedGrader
