Canvas is a web-based learning management system, or LMS. It is used by learning institutions, educators, and students to access and manage online course learning materials and communicate about skill development and learning achievement. The Canvas LMS includes a variety of customizable course creation and management tools, course and user analytics and statistics, and internal communication tools.
Math and science courses have unique instructional approaches and specialized resources required to deliver technical content to students. Discover, in this special session, how to bring those tools and apps into a course. In addition, explore new ways to hold students accountable for their work in math stations and science labs. Investigate content specific applications for the Canvas assessment tools and question types including formula and numerical responses. Instructors of all levels will benefit from this session.
