Building Online Strategies for Today AND Tomorrow

January 1, 1970 @ 12:00 am PST

Over the past several months, educators have had to make Herculean efforts learning new technologies and ways of working in order to continue some semblance of learning for their students. Rather than considering our new tech superhero powers as being only to “meet the moment,” what if we took time to consider how we can leverage these new tools and strategies to be part of our regular teaching practice moving forward?
During this webinar, participants will explore the considerations that need to be made to ensure the edtech tool selections they make and strategies for implementing them take into consideration instructional goals and logistical realities—including factors such as learner access and tech comfort levels of instructors and learners. Participants will be walked through these considerations using an implementation plan template to guide their thinking. By walking through these considerations and having a tool for organizing their thoughts, instructors will leave with a planning tool that allows them to take the new edtech tools and skills they’ve developed today and formalize a plan for leveraging these tools into their ongoing instructional practice.

This online webinar is part of OTAN’s “COVID-19” series.

In its effort to serve the Adult Education field during COVID-19 , OTAN will be hosting **Special Webinars**  related to distance and remote learning techniques, online tools and resources, keeping equity, and a variety of other topics.
